SOFTWARE:

1) How do I configure monitors for CueiT Premier?

CueiT Premier was designed as a dual-screen application. The main monitor will act as your CueiT software interface and the secondary monitor will be the video output to prompter. You will have to connect your secondary graphic card video output to prompt monitor and set your multiple displays to Extended desktop mode.
Windows typically uses a wide-screen resolution for most video-output, however, optimally the secondary monitor should have a 4:3 resolution if it is going out to a traditional on-camera prompter monitor. As this format best fits prompt screen sizes. 1024 x 768 is preferred. When this is set click "Prompt ON", drag Prompt Window to Prompt Monitor and press F11 to full screen the display.

2) Can I change the controller sensitivity?

Controller scroll sensitivity can be changed by connecting the controller via USB interface to the PC running CueiT application. Navigate to "Prompt" -> Controller section -> Settings -> Choose controller -> Set desired sensitivity by adjusting "Scroll sensitivity" slider -> Click OK to save settings.  Please note that settings are saved and stored in controller internal memory.

To add any CueB not automatically recognized by CueiT, but who is active on the network. Enter the IP address. If the CueB is found it will automatically be added as a prompter. 2) How to install my Teleprompter glass?

1. Remove top three screws on hood.
2. Lower the glass frame.
3. Place the glass on the glass frame within the side guides, making sure the sticker is on the side facing the talent. (This ensures glass is correctly oriented.)
4. Push glass into the guide slot at the back/bottom end of frame, and secure tabs at top corners.
5. Raise frame and reattach top screws with glass secured.

3) How do I clean the prompter glass?

To clean the prompter glass, carefully remove it from the hood and gently clean with warm soapy water, or non-abrasive detergent like lens cleaner using a soft cotton or microfiber cloth. If you use a standard glass cleaning product or abrasive material (like paper towel), the reflective coating may be removed from the glass and it will need replacing.

4) What is the pin out for 12V XLR power supply?

Pin outs are as follows: Pin 1 -- GND, Pin 4 -- +12V DC

5) How is the tally triggered from green to red?

When the CueScript Cue Light Sensor is installed, it allows the built in Cue Lights to illuminate when the sensor sees sufficient light and connected accessories like CueNumber and Time Display will turn their colour from green to red. Typically the sensor is affixed with a Velcro ring around the camera tally light LED and connected to mini-B USB input on prompter monitor. There are two additional ways the Cue Lights, CueNumber and Time Display may be triggered. Grounding (through a relay or transistor switch) the sensor input will cause the Cue Lights to illuminate. A second way is to apply a voltage (5-24 VDC) to the +Logic Tally input (Tally Sensor In pin 2).

6) I do not have a tally light on my camera, but still need to send the tally signal from my switcher to the prompter. What is the pin/colour breakdown for the mini USB tally input?

USB Mini
Pin 1. Red  (Sensor in)
Pin 2. White  (+ logic Tally)
Pin 3. Green  (no connection)
Pin 4. NC  (no connection)
Pin 5. Black  (Ground)
